The methods used in this course to assess the ELO will be Exams, Assignments, Class Discussions, and Stock Market participation.
Grading
Participation -- (attendance not required but you can't participate if you are not in class) .......................................... 8%
Exams -- (two semester exams - 15%, 15%, final exam - 30% or 45% or 60% to be explained in class) ............... 60%
Aplia -- (online assignments) .......................................................................................................................................... 20%
Assignments -- (graded on a credit/no credit basis -- may be redone within a week for credit) ................................. 10%
Stock Market Simulation ................................................................................................................................................ 2%
Your grade will be determined by your earning the following overall percentage:
93% A 73% C
90% A- 70% C-
87% B+ 67% D+
83% B 63% D
80% B- Below 63% D-
77% C+ Below 60% F
