The methods used in this course to assess the ELO will be Exams, Assignments, Class Discussions, and a Research Project.


Grading

Participation -- (attendance not required but you can't participate if you are not in class) ........................................ 10%
                           (includes class polling)

Exams -- (stats exam - 10%, midterm exam - 20%, comprehensive final exam - 30%) ............................................ 60%

Assignments -- (graded on a credit/no credit basis -- may be redone within a week for credit).................................. 15%

Research Project -- (semester long applied econometric research paper) ................................................................. 15%

Your grade will be determined by your earning the following overall percentage:

        93%    A                      73%    C
        90%    A-                     70%    C-
        87%    B+                    67%    D+
        83%    B                      63%    D
        80%    B-          Below 63%    D-
        77%    C+         Below 60%    F
